Circa 1964 Fender Stratocaster Fiesta Red Solid Body Electric Guitar, Serial # L52282. Refinished 1964 Stratocaster. Was routed for Humbuckers at neck and bridge positions but has since been filled and the body refinished in Fiesta Red. The body has been sanded somewhat thinner and the trem-block is sticking out slightly. 8/64 pencil date in tremolo cavity. Looks legitimate but the dates are unusual by 1964. Pots all date to 44th week of 1964 and pickups are black bottom with no stamps. Three-way switch is rewired but not correct era. Neck date stamp 2NOV64B. Has repair crack at heel and on headstock at bass end tuners and runs through/between all the tuner holes to the end of the headstock. Holes filled from other tuners. Reproduction tuners installed. Neck is refinished with reproduction decal also finished over. Refretted neck, shows traces of glue at frets. Fingerboard may have been planed towards the end during refretting. Tremolo is not original and the saddles are also reproductions. The pickguard is replaced, as are the pickup covers. The knobs appear to be original.
Hard case included. Has whammy bar. Condition: Good.
