Description
Mark Kendall/Great White stage used BC Rich Guitar (1989).
Johnny "J. Frog" Garcia is the artist who conceived and created the original George Lynch Skull N' Bones guitars. This "Great White" guitar, designed by J. Frog, was played on stage and in videos all over the world, for years by Mark Kendall, the guitarist for Great White. He would have several others made, but this is the original Shark Guitar! It was set-up for Kendall by B.C. Rich. The "human leg" neck, complete with a "Chuck" sneaker as the headstock, a painted-on Band-Aid, and Tiki-patterned shorts, is just fantastic. Kendall donated the guitar to the Hard Rock Cafe back in the 1980s, and there are three mounting brackets and two additional screws on the back for display purposes. One of the tuning knobs is loose, the volume knob is missing as is one of the Floyd Rose bridge knobs. The pickup is an EMG Humbucker. There is some oxidation on the bridge. There are numerous chips, nicks, and dings, as one would expect from a well-toured and played stage guitar. A real piece of heavy metal, hair-band history! Includes a hardcase.
