KENNY ROGERS (b. 1938), a former member of the First Edition and the New Christy Minstrels, became a popular country and pop solo artist with hits including "The Gambler" (1976) and "Lady" (1981). Even after his record sales declined, Rogers remained a popular celebrity with his concerts, made for TV movies (beginning with The Gambler, 1980) and chain of roast chicken restaurants. MARIANNE GORDON (b.1946), the hostess of TV's Hee-Haw was married to Rogers from 1977 to 1993. Gordon's film credits included How to Stuff a Wild Bikini (1965) and Rosemary's Baby, and she appeared in some of Kenny's TV movies. Toned at edges. Ink note (unknown hand) on verso. Otherwise, fine condition.
