Autograph note signed "Best wishes to/Cathy -/Gogi Grant" in blue ink. 5¾x4¼ album leaf, rounded right corners. Pop vocalist Grant, born Myrtle Audrey Arinsberg in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 1924, is best known for her 1956 hit song The Wayward Wind, which shot to No. 1 in the U.S. and reached the Top 10 in Great Britain. Grant, who had also had a Top 10 hit with Suddenly There's A Valley in 1955, recorded a number of albums, provided the vocals for Ann Blyth's portrayal of Helen Morgan in The Helen Morgan Story (1957) and appeared in another feature film and on two TV shows during the late 1950s. Lightly toned and creased. Neatly removed from binding at left edge. Tear in bottom right corner. Light nicks and dents in left edges. Lightly discolored top, right and bottom edges. Otherwise in fine condition.
